We are now in Portugal and I am so happy. The weather over here is gorgeous.  I have met so many wonderful and friendly people.  The people over here are so helpful and just full of joy.  Also on that note I have read a book called Mary Prince who was a former slave.  It was her biography and account of her life as a slave.  The story was told by Mary herself but was not written by Mary herself on account of the book was pushed by abolitionist and they did not want her to put in her being raped.  While reading the book, it was real gut wrenching.  She told about how hard her life was as a slave.  It went into detail with each of her masters and how they would flog her until they got tired for no reason.  Reading it just made me appreciate the life and the freedom that we have in this world.  It just makes one appreciate everything that one has.  I really enjoyed it and would encourage anyone to read it.
