I have learned that a museum is not just put together, but that a lot of time and effort is put forth. The many exhibits that are put into museums have gone through many committees before being put on display. After viewing the Docklands Museum, we were now able to speak to a curator who is some of the brains behind the project. I was able to learn many important things from here. The main point that resonated with me when viewing a museum is to go and search for history for oneself. Even though a museums goal is to re-tell or re-interpret history, it does not mean that all of the information is fact. One should not just take a museums fact as correct, and look the information up themselves. Last but not least History is not just the past, but the present and future. Comments
