Modern Day Slavery E-mail

Slavery still goes on even in today’s world. Many people work hard to receive no pay at all. Even some children have to work more hours then you can imagine. The British Slave Trade: Abolition, Parliament, and People exhibit had many facts about today’s slavery and that is really helpful for a person who is ignorant on the subject.

For example there was a thirteen-year-old girl who lived in Haiti her name was Mideline Chersetal and she worked eighteen hours a day for no pay. This is the type of situation that should have immediate help, but if people are not aware of these things it is almost like it do not exist. To me this is complete madness and something should be done to stop this madness. Not even in the year 2007 everybody has freedom, there are people who are still fighting for the right to be free. In the year 2007 al of these things should have been come to an end, but there is not enough support to address the issue of modern day slavery. If people fight for what is in their heart I personally think modern day slavery could come to an end. So I can say that the British Slave Trade: Abolition, Parliament, and People exhibit was worth my time.
