When I first saw the boat I thought that it was pretty small. Then, after having a tour of the boat by one of the crew members from the first leg it did not seem so bad after all. I say this because before I even got on the boat I had all of these thoughts running through my head; about how small the boat would be and would not be equipped to hold all of my luggage. The day that we had to move on the boat was a very adrenaline rushing day. I was so anxious to meet the rest of the crew from our leg; as well as anxious to see where I would be sleeping for the next for months. Move in day aboard the Amistad started around 6 in the morning. once we arrived at our soon to be new home, we began to board our luggage on the ship. So, once we arrive and put our luggage on deck then we went down to join our new Amistad second leg crew for breakfast. Oh and by the way the breakfast was delicious. After finishing breakfast and clean up then we went to get settled in our new bunk. Once on deck I was directed to take my stuff to the Foc’sle where I was going to be bunking. Movin day went very swell. It was better than I expected it to be. I guess it just shows me to look at the positive side of things rather than the negative things. Comments
