The first day of sailing was fun. We got a feel for the boat, got our sea legs and some go sick. We learned some of the ropes and their names. We also learned some different knots, calls, signals, and drills. On the boat everyone has to work as a team to get things done. We have watch schedules set up for everyone every four hours in which we do boat checks, lookouts, and helm navigation. In the morning we always have a great breakfast cooked by our banging cook Danni. After breakfast we get started with the cleaning. We do soles and bowls, brass, deck washes, dishes, and galley clean ups. The watches are going to take some time to get use too but overall the boat is fun and I think I will have fun and learn a lot.
