Amistad went into anchor on Tuesday August 14th night in Milford Haven Harbour. The decision to move from Falmouth to Milford Haven was to position the ship closer to Liverpool, within a reasonable distance to make it here, while avoiding some heavy weather that was forecast. The ship made it to Milford Haven Harbour after a good day of sail training and is planning on staying there on Wednesday to continue sail training and getting fuel on Thursday. She will then begin to make her way up towards Liverpool for the August 19th arrival. Amistad is right on schedule and all aboard are fine and getting a bit of a respite. A good thing all around. Weather has been dreary as can be for a few days running and will continue to be until Friday they tell us.
