The Freedom Schooner Amistad is headed towards England after a brief, medical emergency call to Horta on island of Faial in the Azores. Ben Clarkson, the Amistad's  engineer who sustained the foot injury received necessary medical care.  The captain,  the  crew including the injured engineer , and the Sankofa college students are in great spirits and enjoying fast sailing towards England taking the advantage of the favorable weather conditions.
