In class today we learnt about Tacking and gybing . Taking is when you want the boat to go into the wind and gybing is the opposite, and then all watches separated into their groups and ‘A watch’ - the head sails, meaning the sails at the front of the boat, ‘B watch’ – the middle part of the ship and ‘C watch’ – worked on aft which means the back.

Anyway it was interesting and for once it was a hands on class than just the group meeting.

Today was scorching hot, to the fact that I felt disgustingly sticky. All I really wanted was to do a man over board situation and I’d be the person in the water so that I could have cooled off.

Also we had dinner outside in the sun, which was really nice.

I felt like I was going to die, because of the lack of water in my body, I kept throwing up little bits of food and every time I drank water I’d be running to the restroom.
