Jambo from the galley… another amazing, excellent day…today was field day (general boat cleaning)…so the Eliza, Gina and I stood watch…and there I was at the Helm sailing the Amistad off into history…I think Margru and the ancestors would be proud…

(I know it would probably impress my grandson Dillon)…and for lunch we ate on deck this afternoon…dinning on cold salmon, bar-b-que spare ribs, feta, artichoke, olive, onion, garbanzo bean salad, leftover lasagna, devil eggs, bar-b-que tofu, lemonade and water…all the tummy’s were happy… Gina fixed a delightful, dinner, tarragon lemon chicken, brown rice, sautéed zucchini…as the sun set on the Amistad, Venus, Jupiter and Altair’s appeared in a clear evening sky…how fortunate I am to be a part of this…an ancestor in training and a little cooking on the side…saving the world one bite at a time….

Bon appetite
