Hello there me dears! Today is the 5th day of our crossing and it is warm, sunny and the sea is the most brilliant blue and occasionally populated with dolphins that speed past us. Making us look like were barely making one knot! I am currently on morning watch with C led by our fearless and amazing mate Hannah, I have done a bow watch, the helm and a boat check in the last 3 hours which was quite fun. During my boat check I also had to do several plotting for our course that has helped me a lot understanding and being more confident at navigation. (Can’t wait for the celestial one) Also pretty soon we are going to put up the Tagalent (forgive me if the spelling is wrong) sail, which should be so, much fun especially since I will be going aloft for the first time. When were moving! Well thank you for listening to what I have been doing and I know its not much reflecting but I’m just so excited about what iv done and what is to come very soon…more like ten minutes. TA TA my dears!!

Hello again my dears tis 7:47 pm as I’m typing this second part of my narrative for today. I’m simply want to talk about my time aloft (well almost there) it was probably the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced in my life! The shrouds, which are the vertical black poles going up on each side o the ship, would sway and turn which made it very hard to move. Also looking down did not help much but I couldn’t help it much but I was more scared of the thought of falling into the water. Which I’m glad I never did and I never intend to!
