The pump has arrived, FINALY!!! I can’t believe the amount of trouble Amistad had to go through to get it. Also somehow we have two pumps on the ship. Hopefully we are leaving today. Oh no… more seasickness!!!

Boohoo yeah!!! We got our first day off since being on the boat or even in the program. (A little freedom makes the medicine go down!) So in the morning I went to the Doctors and stocked up on my essentials for the voyage, came back for lunch had some delicious soup and salad, then went into Halifax with Seth, Mike and Erica. It was a good chance to get away from the boat, as we are going to be spending 28 days on there, if not longer.
Also why is it that sailors are so superstitious? Not sailing on a Friday, and Friday the 13th?  Oh well, I don’t believe in luck, I believe that everything happens for a reason and you just got to go with it.
Right now I am on anchor watch by myself. Usually it’s split between the 5 of us but I think our watch mates see that we are capable of doing it by ourselves.
I like that!!
