Hey, how you all doing? Yet again the Amistad is still docked at Sambro Harbor and because we have been here so long waiting for this pump, I have actually been able to make some new friends. Canadian people are so friendly!

Over all todays activities have been great, why? because we haven’t had to do much at all, orders from our watch mates have been very little and I’ve loved it. Anyway as usual we started the day off with clean up, deck wash, souls and bowls and galley. It was not so bad, Paul gave us a couple of hours to do some academic work which I thought was great, because we have so much to do. So about an hour into our reading, Kent asked us if we wanted to go jogging. Didn’t realize how unfit I was but it beats being on the boat all day.

The BBQ: BBQ in the fog? I’ve never done that before. The crew, students and other guests from around the town came to our BBQ, good food as usual and for the first time in a long time we had a ghetto blaster playing. I love my music, and being on this boat I hadn’t heard any in a long time. So that was almost the enjoyment of my day.
