It is now 02.35 and after a boat check and an interesting conversation about traveling with Tim, which helps to pass time, I am now sitting in the aft cabin with my cup of tea- British blend!

At the moment were anchored in Sambro Harbour and yes it does sound weird as we should be in the Atlantic ocean sailing home however we have to wait on an important pipe for the water maker. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love the boat being still and me being able to walk straight but I also have had to accept that this cannot and will not last forever- so I would much prefer to get out there and get home-I miss you Britain! We are anchored in a beautiful Harbour with lots of greenery and twinkling stars and a big clear moon, and it is not too cold either which is always a bonus. Also earlier (which is now yesterday) I beautifully brought down the main sail with Logan- it was classic.
Getting back into sailing from our dock in Halifax was strange. Although I felt dreadfully sick and did end up vomiting, I wanted my body to get used to it so sea-sickness could be over and so I could enjoy the voyage home. Then I found out we were heading backwards…

I’ll be writing again soon!
