Hello my dears! Mikes back and I know you love it. So I have been on the Amistad for six days now. Many of those days were spent at mooring by Barbados, waiting for food deliveries. But my journey started on Saturday the 19th were I flew out of Britain via Manchester airport to Atlanta In the states. On this most annoying of days I was subjected to policies about return flights and annoying custom officers asking the same question over and over, to the point that I could have made a catchy jig out of it. But never the less several hours later I was free to leave and got to my hotel after a much-needed bath I Met Haley at the airport and rested for the rest of the night. The next day we had our connecting flight to Barbados at 9.35 so we were up at the crack of dawn (even though it was still dark). Unfortunately Haley was confronted with the same horror over a return flight as I was back in Manchester  (poor thing).

So we arrived at Barbados and managed to meet our fellow crewmember Ben Saint, or Tiny as he is called round these parts. Surprisingly customs in Barbados let us through with out any problems, which was a surprise. A good one too! When all three of us pulled up to the ship docked I must admit that a lot of feelings and emotions were going through my head to the point were I broke down crying. (Remember I told you that so don't think you could use it against me) But I probably think it was down to lack of sleep and the stress of the past two days, but thankfully I am better, if not a little sea sick but I will get over it and if not then God help me.

Ok so thank you for reading my Blog, it's been fun to type and it shall be the first of many as I will try at beat my last amount. So to all my family and friends I miss you and love you all and see you soon. Oh and the ship has a dog!!  TATA for now my dears
