Perhaps it is time to start at the beginning, where the journey begins. However, I suppose that would have to be before the beginning of time, since each action, breath and decision of every being in the universe affects the web of life and creates the chain of events that bring us to the present moment. Somewhere in the world a butterfly flaps her wings . . . For the sake of brevity, I’ll call the beginning of this journey when I arrived in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
