At anchor Falmouth E-mail

At anchor in Falmouth, waiting for the weather. It's frustrating because we have a fair wind right now, but indications that it wouldn't last long enough to get us past the Bay of Biscay. It was cold enough this morning to see your breath. Beautiful full moon going down as the sun rose.

So the time is spent on getting the topsail reef tackle rigged better, and getting out and checking our storm jib and storm trysail, figuring out how we'd use them if it comes to that.

We're at a mooring out in the harbor, so remain somewhat free of the corrupting influence of the shore. The mooring fee comes complete with access to what must be the nicest showers on the coast of England, and our standards of personal hygiene have taken a great leap forward.
