Life at anchor is pleasing, I enjoy the rocking of the boat and the lapping of the water. Half our crew is set to depart after a tour of the country side for a few days. We are a skeleton crew aboard now and getting things done is taking longer, like cleaning and deck washes. There are ways to build a team though; tonight we celebrated Channukah with latkes and applesauce and singing songs. Tomorrow we bust out the chocolate. There's just a few cell phones on the boat now, we used to have a policy that any cell phones ringing will be thrown overboard. I liked that policy. Barry and Eve have been playing their guitars for our enjoyment, their repetoire has grown aboard.
I tried to get to shop for water today but was thwarted. West Indian time came from West Africa, I'm sure. It's too damned hot to get worked up about it though, tomorrow's another day.
I'll bet it's cold at home in Nova Scotia. We don't have much access to outside info, so we'll just have to let you all take care of things for us. Merry Christmas to my Heather, Dad and Bev, Mom and Mike, Mark, Julie and Tim, Stephanie, Mary, Francis and Audrey, the Attersley's and Morley's. Have a wonderful day and thank you Jeff and Vicki for having my girl over for the day. I'll be there in spirit, sweating. Yeah, I had to rub it in. Love to all my people, HK
