Okay, so that's a false lead. It was so hot last night (how hot was it?) that my hair was smoldering. I usually shower before bed, that was a waste of water. I really wanted to douse myself this morning, but didn't want to be salty all day. I'm thinking that sleeping on deck is the option tonight.

So today we celebrate Hannah's birthday. She's opted for quiche for dinner and lemon squares for snack, I like her thinking. No fish yesterday, even though I took out a pork roast. I'll cook it today, as pork is Captain Eliza's fav. Drew has repaired the flying nun to her former glory. I would support a hatch catcher for the aft cabin and focs'l as well. The weather will only get hotter, then add mosquitoes.
