Boxing Day Holiday E-mail

In Canada, we use Boxing Day as a day for shopping, after Christmas sales and  such. Here it's a real day off. The crew has all commented on the business on the streets, all hours, every day, young, old, matters not. Yesterday was a busy day cooking for me, so I had only planned a little jaunt into town to buy a cell phone card and maybe some ice cream for the watch; I brought some home on Christmas Eve and it was a hit. The streets were truly empty! A few dedicated vendors, but every store front was shut, all stores closed until tomorrow. It was a little eerie.
Tomorrow is another day, and we'll not waste away overnight. We've got a leftover spread to rival your grandma's!  Love to all my people. HK
