Yesterday we said goodbye to the remaining students that were on board. We had some tears and goodbyes, a short small boat ride, and badda bing, Amistad is back to crew only. I think I've probably mentioned this before - one of the reasons I love boating is the constant change. Seems to me that living in one place with one job, although a great way to save money, one might become stagnant. When change finally does occur, which is inevitable, it can be really shocking! In a job like this one, I've learned to embrace beginnings and endings, hellos and goodbyes (H and G), transitions and monotony. I look forward to some time alone with Amistad, and a little time off to get to know more of Sierra Leone and the surrounding areas.
    Until next time, drew
