First of all, what the hell is a Blog anyway?  It seems like just a word made up by some cyber person to try and create a "new" written document. Nice try.  All it is, is a personal log that gets posted in the space of cyberness.  There I just created a new word too.  Anyway I am being forced to "Blog" by our resident geek squad, Drew Kerlee, (Jerk) at the end of the night after watch, when all I really want to do is go and read some Moby Dick in my rack.  This isn't how you get quality.  These blogs should be carefully crafted to try and fully express a person's experience through rich, descriptive language for all the masses around the world to read and enjoy.  A good Blog can take days to fully develop and mold to just your liking, and then, after a stringent editing process can it finally be side-loaded into the interwebs.  Yeah, I know, most people on this boat simply just throw-up on a piece of paper and call it a Blog.  But for someone like me, who has a lucrative literary career ahead, a Blog is an unchecked published article that could ruin my good writing name forever. Oh no, I am not going to fall in that trap Mr. Drew, you may think you are getting a Blog, but this is a certifiable rant, and last time I checked any a-hole can get a rant posted in the op-ed section of the newspaper and nobody judges them at all.  So we will keep it as such. Anyway, as there has been so much happening aboard Schooner Amistad lately, with many yarns to tell, I will be posting, in due time, the kind of quality storytelling that everyone out there has come to expect.  Until then I bid you a good night.
